This restaurant was on the east side of Spadina, a little south of College. On the south wall, it had copies of restaurant reviews that said it had the best hot %26amp; sour soup in Toronto. It was a simple place with about 10 tables and great lunch deals.Does the Chinese restaurant on Spadina with the claim of "Toronto's Best Hot %26amp; Sour Soup" still exist?
I am not sure if this is the exact place, but I do know that Kom Jug Yuen (which is south of College, east side of Spadina) has some pretty darn good hot+sour soup. Some say its the best in Toronto, but I am not sure if it is the one with the reviews in the windowDoes the Chinese restaurant on Spadina with the claim of "Toronto's Best Hot %26amp; Sour Soup" still exist?
I believe that it got bigger and it changed its name its more of a Vietnamese community now.Does the Chinese restaurant on Spadina with the claim of "Toronto's Best Hot %26amp; Sour Soup" still exist?
I used to live on Huron St in the 1980's and since then the Spadina area from College to Queen St has changed, as more of a diverse Asian community came to the area, there now more Vietnamese restaurants and Asian markets on Spadina than the old chinese places, when I went to George Brown College to do my chefs apprenticeship, we would cruise the places, as for the one you are speaking of it could still be there, I was there in October of last year, and there as several still in that area, but likely if it has been a few years since you were there, it might be gone, I know everytime that I have been there recently there are new or different places.
