It says on the employment application, "We hope to fill most of our management positions from within as we grow - including Corporate Trainers, Shift Managers, Assistant and General Managers."
ok.....
but then I look at their employee reviews;
"advancement opportunities pretty much stop after you get a $1/hour raise. "
So which is it?Does the restaurant "Five Guys Burger and Fries" hire their managers externally or do they promote from within?
in the corporate world, that means they want to hire you at a lower rate, with the carrot on a stick being easy promotion. but how many employees can truly come up from the ranks? not many. this was my life, when i had one -- i was a corporate thug. restaurant workers usually find their niche and stay there. corporate employees on the other hand scabble like dogs to get ahead, or be thrown away.Does the restaurant "Five Guys Burger and Fries" hire their managers externally or do they promote from within?
I don't know how they do it,I work at a plant and the way they do it is to go cost efficient,hire within...not outside training,no salary or hourly position wars...it's easy and simple so I assume that's the way they will do it as wellDoes the restaurant "Five Guys Burger and Fries" hire their managers externally or do they promote from within?
There will always be disgruntled employees in places like this. If you give 110% you will get ahead.
I thought liberals were educated. Why do you want a job flipping burgers?
