Has anyone been to the Melting Pot restaurant?

I have read reviews that say it's expensive but can anyone be more specific with prices? (they are not listed on the company website).

Was it good? Worth it?Has anyone been to the Melting Pot restaurant?
Let me see, the last time I was at a Melting Pot, it was 3 years ago in Seattle.

I think it was in the neighborhood of $80 per couple, but may have ended up being more like $120 (we went with 2 couples). So, in my opinion, it was expensive (especially when you have to cook your food yourself).

I had a pretty good time (although that has more to do with the company you bring), but for that kind of price I guess I don't expect to have to do anything myself.

It is however, a unique experience; one that can not be had anywhere else.
I went to the Melting Pot restaurant in Seattle.

My wife and I had the "happy hour" special.

Was it good?

We got the traditional (swiss cheese)... I thought the cheese overpowered teh food.

We also ordered the dessert chocolate fondue. That was good.

If we were to go there again... We'd skip the "entree" fondue and just do the dessert fondue.

Worth it?

It was okay... for a first time visit. I don't remember what we paid... I think it was $40 with bar drink each, fondue, dessert fondue and 20% tip.

What saved us a bunch of money was the "happy hour" special. I think you had to order one drink (but not quite sure).

As mentioned earlier, we liked the chocolate fondue.Has anyone been to the Melting Pot restaurant?
I think it is expensive for what you get. I've been to better fondue restaurants, Melting Pot is not my favorite.

The thing I didn't like was the deception. The pots seem deeper than they actually are. Add to that the fact that thought it was expensive to begin with and I felt totally cheated. I've never been back since my first visit.
i was disappointed with the way they treat customers. i blazed one up and they threw me outHas anyone been to the Melting Pot restaurant?
