I'm looking for the perfect place to take my dad for his birthday. The restaurant, Laportia's, came up in my search and sounds great, it has all good reviews but no information on the prices there. Can anyone tell me how the food at Laportia's Restaurant is priced?Laporta's Restaurant: Is this restaurant in Old Town, Virginia expensive?
The prices are comparable to most nice restaurants in the area. Appetizers and salads $9-15, en trees running from $18-29. 29 for the filet. I would plan on an 18% gratuity, service is really good! The food is just okay for me...I had a good experience there; but it's nothing to really, really rant about.
I love The Wharf on King street in Alexandria - also Chart House on Union Street; it sits on the pier; when you book here ask for a window seat; to look out over the Potomac...
Happy Bday to your dad:)Laporta's Restaurant: Is this restaurant in Old Town, Virginia expensive?
Their dinner menu and wine list is available online (prices included). Don't forget to include gratuity and sales tax into your budget plans.
It is pricey but it is about standard for most nicer formal restaurants
