Looking for a good kid friendly entertaining restaurant in or near los angeles?

am looking for something like Rainforest Cafe I read BAD reviews that made me change my mind...I want to have dinner with entertainment if possible. Any kind of theme does not have to be jungle theme. My Daughter is 4 yrs old i want to make sure she enjoys itLooking for a good kid friendly entertaining restaurant in or near los angeles?
Well the Rainforest Cafe is actually pretty good for kids. For adults, the menu, although seems like it would be interesting, is rather bland and the alcohol drinks are watered down (as I said, for adults). Another drawback is that you have to walk through the gift shop to get to the dining area. If you want the best decorated Rainforest Cafe location in town, go to the Downtown Disney location. If you are thinking of going that way, there is also a character buffet in Goofy/'s Kitchen in the Disneyland Hotel (a bit pricey).

I agree that Universal CityWalk would be a nice place. One additional spot there is Bubba Gumps Shrimp Company but I am not entirely certain if she will like the place other than that they serve shrimp and they play games with the kids while waiting for a table.

I don't know if there are any in LA, but look up Dave and Busters.

universal city walk, they have a bowling ally if not a theater, or that indoor skydiving(for a teen) , or virtual racing (10 and up)
