Hey,
I had a tooth pulled today and am in excruciating pain. I've been looking online about if people usually go to work the next day or take off and am getting mixed reviews. I am a Server in a restaurant so I'm not 'behind the scenes'. Thank you so much for your input.Tooth pulled today. Work as a Server in Restaurant. Should I work tomorrow? or take off?
HI
You should be taking some pain relief to cope with the pain, you can try a warm wheat pillow on that side of your face, it does help, you can work if you feel ok, but sometimes it better to get some rest, the dentist should give a certificate for work absence so that you can still get ?paid.
If you had a bad infection associated with the tooth you just had removed, you should not go to work. It is important to get your body into the healing phase or you might just end up very sick for several days. If you don't have any swelling, infection, or just minor pain, it is probably ok to work tomorrow. See how you feel tomorrow.Tooth pulled today. Work as a Server in Restaurant. You should give yourself a day off. You never know how the pain may be with you moving around %26amp; being active instead of resting. So just rest to make sure you're 100% ready.
if it really hurts you that much take off. Trust me its not fun working when you are in pain lol. See how it feels early in the morning and make your decisionTooth pulled today. Work as a Server in Restaurant. Should I work tomorrow? or take off?
just take some Advil
you should be fine for work by tomorrow
its all about you personally if its not painful then go but from my experience in the industry id say you would be best to take the day off just to be sure
