No such thing exists. "Foodies" are basically pretentious snobs who think of themselves as culinary experts, and usually nit-pick in their critique of restaurants they might visit. Catering to foodies is a fool's endeavor as they make up about 5% of the dining public and they like to think they weild enough power to make or break a restauranteur.
Any place that falls under that category to me would seem to be a pretentious "fusion" hack's house who thinks they are a world-class chef and overcharges people for his brand of haute cuisine, which probably isn't even prepared properly. Beware, if you have an inkling that a place like this is being run by someone who doesn't know what they're doing, run away. It's not worth the risk of getting food poisoning.
Most of the restaurants list under that category heading should be mom and pop type places with well thought out and interesting menus. The type of places that you might find on "Diners. Drive-Ins and Dives" or other shows on the Food Network. What is a "fit for foodies" restaurant?
I would guess that it's a restaurant that serves well prepared and well cooked high class food. Definitely not your McDonalds and that type of establishment.
