When a person applies for a job at a chain store or chain restaurant do the other stores around the area?

also look at your application? The reason I'm asking is because I applied at Mcdonalds and Burger King and I don't want to waste my time applying at other McDonald's and BK if my applications will also be reviewed by the other restaurants from those chains in my area. When a person applies for a job at a chain store or chain restaurant do the other stores around the area?
it looks like you got your answer! but i just wanted to say hooray for you that you are seeking a decent job other than what some ladies do when in need of money.

but i was in your boat, and still am, why don't you get a job at a "real" restauraunt, pardon the real!! A friend of mine worked at Red Robin and she made great money, also check out banks, the mall, department stores like jcpenny, sears, Macy's..that stuff!!

good luck hope you get the job YOU want! as long as you maintain your dignity and self-respect you will be happy!!!When a person applies for a job at a chain store or chain restaurant do the other stores around the area?
No, they don't go to any sort of corporate head office for the minimum-wage kitchen and cashier jobs. The applications are reviewed by that restaurant's manager only. It's worth it to apply to each one of them.... if for some reason you like flipping burgers for minimum wage, heheh. When a person applies for a job at a chain store or chain restaurant do the other stores around the area?
They all have your information on file (computer), I spent over 30 years in the food business. I tell every one to stay away way from it as when it comes time for retirement you get the very lost amount of S.S. benefits. And tax time is a joke also.
Nah, don't worry about it. Send the same one for all you like. They can't look into another's shoulder to your application.

But I used to work at a restaurant that has a banquet right across the street; both under the same boss and 'family' of workers. They'll probably find it out and get the bad impression.

But it was a family thing, so... this is a large corporation you're talking about. They don't want to waste their time either.
