How should a restaurant review be formatted? What point of view it it written in? Examples?

Generally it pays to describe the experience in chronological order. Incorporate the atmosphere at the beginning, as it's your first impression of the restaurant, as well as any welcome you receive. Proceed to discuss the menu %26amp; the waitstaff, followed by your dining experience by course. Be sure to include service as it evolves over the meal (perhaps you were ignored at the beginning, but it picked up by mains and was great after, or vice versa). Be specific about the quality of ingredients, choices available, whether they could accommodate special requests or were knowledgeable about their dishes, etc.

Generally you just want to paint a picture for someone reading it, remembering that they've never been - describe things succinctly and vibrantly.
