Why cant I find menus and pictures of restaurants. All I get are reviews and advertisements?

I went to my parents house last week and they suggested a certain restaurant. I wanted to know what they had. All I got was a generic listing. They had no website so I had no information. Why doesn't anyone post menus online?Why cant I find menus and pictures of restaurants. All I get are reviews and advertisements?
I am working very hard to bring just what you are looking for to the foodie's out there looking for places to eat online. I am the creator of Jafler Restaurant Guide and I plan to bring a unique approach to the internet.



You are right, there isn't much information about a restaurant if they don't have a website. You are limited to restaurant listing services such as menuclub.com, restaurantguide.com, yelp.com and so forth. Allmenus.com has menus but no images. Its a start. People eat with their eyes and want to see what the restaurant has. yes a menu is good but how about a nice picture of a pastrami sandwich dripping with sauce...is your mouth watering? Thats the point. When you go to a different city, you look at the restaurants menu before you walk in. Why...Price, type of food, whatever the reason, they have a menu to look at.



But to answer your question finally, most restaurant listing sites really are not concerened with getting the restaurant business. They are after the advertising on the page. You go to the link the restaurant you want, what do you see. A name, phone number,a map and reviews. But what do you see more of...yep..Google ads and such. Really no information about the restaurant. Thats the game. Plus its a lot of work putting a site together with so much info...trust me.

I found a website that is just launching. They don't have many city'ss yet but I know Chico Ca and Yuba city and maybe Oroville ca has pages. They have some menus plus pictures. Like I said they are just starting out, looks like it will be pretty cool since I havn't found anything else except for allmenus.com

I have attempted this, and most restaurants do have menu's.

First you log into searches the put the city and state,

Finally if it does not answer under these guidelines, enter a category like,

Best places to eat Organic food in Dallas,Tx.

Or best place to eat seafood in Newport Beach Ca.





So of the best places to dine out are by word of mouth %26lt; no pun intended%26gt; so ask why they like it and what would they order if they went there ?.
