Do people that do restaurant reviews on yelp get paid?

Hi everyone,

I noticed that people on Facebook are always posting reviews on restaurants. The are very diligent and do reviews several times a day . Do they get paid from yelp or points ??? I review on Yelp for the same reason I answer questions on Yahoo. I like helping people. Plus I read Yelp reviews before trying somewhere new, so I should give back.
Never heard of such a thing. Sometimes if you check in there you get coupons like half off an entree but usually ppl give bad reviews if they're pissed or good reviews if they liked it.Do people that do restaurant reviews on yelp get paid?
I've been reviewing on Yelp! for years. I've never gotten paid for it.

They should not be getting paid. Some people just like to write reviews.
no they do not get paid. they just want to share their experience in hopes of helping future diners.
