My mom said she read a local restaurant review and it did horrible. Ive been there and I like it and that review means nothing to me. Also I would give a new restaurant a chance too even if the review was bad. How about you?

Reviews don't affect anything of mine.
Advertisements only affect me negatively. If the commercial for the product is super loud to try to "get my attention", I put it on my list of things NOT to buy.

they do, especially when they come from social media (blogs) or from people i know
ads i don't trust, but they still help brand awareness meaning i'm more inclined to buy a product i've heard of
