How do I go about getting into restaurant reviews?

I always thought it would be cool to go eat out at a company's expense just for writing a review on the restaurant? Does anyone know how to get involved in doing that? Ive searched for it on the internet and cant really find anything.How do I go about getting into restaurant reviews?

well you would probably need a degree in journalism, and extensive food and wine knowledge. many are former chefs, sommeliers, restaurant owners. you have to be able to know what each classic dish is supposed to taste like, you would need a good palate and be able to discern different tastes. so let's say 2 degrees. one in journalism. one in culinary arts. and tons of restaurant and wine experience. there is a little more involved than going out on the 'company's' dime and saying wow great chicken parm.How do I go about getting into restaurant reviews?
