It can be a little expensive, but I thought it was good. It's a chain place. You can pay for a single plate, all you can eat, plus they have a salad bar if you want to pay extra for that. The single serving plate was plenty and filled me up. You select your meats(s), vegetables, sauce, and starch, so you get exactly what you want. I enjoyed it as well.
A "Mongolian Grill" is an eatery where the diner selects the meats, vegetables %26amp; sauces themselves, and places them uncooked in a bowl; the staff then cook it on a large hot plate, and put it back in the dish. The ONLY way for the resultant dish to be "terrible" is if you make terrible choices, and the restaurant SURELY cannot be blamed for that!
(This method of cooking has nothing whatsoever to do with Mongolia, and was invented in Taiwan)

Mongolian Grill is a style of cooking that is used by many restaurants. I would not be surprised if many of those restaurants simply took the name as well.
I have eaten good Mongolian Grill food and it is a pleasant experience. You walk around and select the ingredients that you want the chef to cook. You give the chef your bowl and he cooks it on a large flat circular grill.
My experiences have been good.
i personally never listen to reviews for so called "food critics". they are paid to go around and eat at restaurants. they really are not all objectionable like they should be. the only critic i think you should listen to is yourself. i say go and see what the experience is like and then judge for yourself if it is a waste of time and or money. i personally have always enjoyed going to a new restaurant and a new type of cuisine and have not really been disappointed. go out and enjoy yourself. Is the Mongolian Grill a good restaurant? How much does it cost?
