Restaurant review ---?

I went to a German restaurant recently for the first time. The decor was nice and the waiter was friendly, the rest of the staff not so much. The problem was that the food that I ordered was terrible . I later looked them up in Zagat to see what the ratings were. . Over all the restaurant had a 72 rating. Most of the ratings were about the food (some said great, but more of them said down right awful ) So it seems that some people really liked the food and named spasific foods that they liked. The question is : Is it fair to give a poor rating to a restaurant when you have only been there once and tried only one of the Items on the menu?Restaurant review ---?
A big question for a reviewer to take into consideration is: Would they return to the same restaurant again? If the answer is no, then its pretty much cut and dried.

I've gone to places the reviewers raved about and thought they were pretty bland. But I do tend to take their advice on which places to avoid.Restaurant review ---?
Yes it is good to rate it poor because it was your first visit and they did not do enough to earn your business. You should warn others of your bad experience so this restaurant will either improve or go out of business. You should be mad that you wasted your money on bad food.Restaurant review ---?
I wouldn't rate it poor on one visit i would rate it fair . Then give more details if theres a spot for it
